摘　　要：随着VoIP和第3代移动通信的发展,SCTP协议的使用将会越来越多。从分组结构、安全性、多归属、流、数据的发送和接收等几个方面对SCTP和TCP进行了分析比较。说明了为什么SCTP比TCP更适合传送PSTN信令。With the development, applications such as voice over IP (VoIP) and the 3rd generation mobile telephony networks, there is an increasing need for SCTP. Several features between SCTP and TCP, such as packet structure, security, multihoming, stream, data transmit and receive are analyzed. It is explained why SCTP with several new features is more suitable for PSTN signaling transport than TCP.
