摘　　要：在当代文化研究视野中 ,文化与文明长期以来被视作同一概念 ,但在汉语的使用中却一直保持着审慎的区别。这种矛盾的出现 ,源自我们对西方“文化”概念的全盘接受。其间所体现的并不仅是对一个概念的接受与否的问题 ,事实上它表达的是一种文化对另一种文化的屈从。在文化研究获得本土的合理性日益迫切的今天 。In the field of culture study, the conceptions of “culture” and “civilization” have long been regarded as the same, but in Chinese they have been kept different in usage. This conflict has been caused by the total and uncritical acceptance of the conception of western “culture”, which shows not only the problem whether to accept the conception or not but actually the yielding of one culture to another one. Nowadays as the rationality of nativizing the culture study becomes more and more urgent, it is necessary for us to examine “culture” and “civilization” closely.
