摘　　要：探讨了ArcView GIS与Visual Basic6.0(VB)实现数据共享的DDE技术,通过ArcView GIS作为目标、VB作为源和ArcView GIS作为源、VB作为目标两个例子来说明VB和ArcView之间可互传数据,并能扩展ArcView功能,实现应用程序中的地理信息处理功能;而ArcView也可以通过DDE技术与其他通用编程语言连接起来,从而实现地理信息系统与其它系统如办公自动化、决策系统等的无缝集成。This paper introduces the DDE methods of realizing data share between ArcView GIS and VB. One example is given with ArcView as the destination and the Visual Basic application as the server and the other is given with ArcView as the server and the Visual Basic application as the destination. It is proved that they are effective ways to enrich the functions of ArcView and to develop the users application system. And it is proved that the DDE methods are helpful to realize the functions of dealing with the geographical information.
