摘　　要：vpls利用任意点到任意点的透明的全连结将地理上分散的节点连在一起,通过运营商的网络给用户提供一个类似于LAN的服务。基于分层和并行处理的思想,该文采用intelIXP2400网络处理器实现vpls,把数据平台与控制平台分开。intel2400网络处理器内部的IntelXScalecore处理器负责转发的控制;而用Intel2400内部的微引擎进行数据包的转发。并且为了提高转发时查表的速度用TCAM作为转发表的存储介质。Vpls appears in all respects as a LAN to customers of Service Provider,however the customers may be spread across wide area.Based on hierarchy and Parallel Processing,in this paper intel IXP2400network processor is used to separate the date plane away from the control plane.Intel XScale core processor,the IXP2400internal hardware,takes charge of forwarding control.While Microengines,also the IXP2400internal hardware,forward packets.In order to increase the speed of looking up table when forwarding packets,TCAM is used as the memory medium of forwarding table.
