复合材料为正极的锂离子电池研究

摘  要:用锰酸锂和包覆镍酸锂质量比为1∶1的复合正极材料组装AA型锂离子电池,对其循环性能、热稳定性和耐过充性进行了研究。通过对比发现:该复合正极材料不仅表现出与钴酸锂相当的比容量和循环性能,而且热稳定温度较钴酸锂提高了5℃,尤其是耐过充能力大大改善。钴酸锂电池以3C、10V过充发生爆炸,而复合正极材料电池在3C、20V条件下过充仍是安全的。该复合正极材料综合性能优异,价格低,是一种有潜力的锂离子动力电池正极材料。The AA size lithium ion batteries were assembled using the composite of LiCoO_2-coated LiNiO_2 and LiMn_2O_4 as (cathode) materials with the ratio 1∶1 in weight.The cyclic performance, thermal stability and overcharge performance of the batteries were studied. Compared with the LiCoO_2, the composite cathode material not only presented the comparable specific capacity and cyclic performance, but the thermal stability temperature was increased 5?℃ than that of LiCoO_2, especially the overcharge-resistant ability improved greatly, the LiCoO_2-based batteries exploded when overcharging at 3? C ,10?V, while the batteries using the composite as cathode were still safe under 3? C , 20?V overcharging. For the excellent all-around performance and low cost, the composite cathode material would be a potential candidate of lithium-ion batteries used in EV and HEV.
