摘　　要：广东省八九五一系统系广东省各级政府组织、领导、协调防震抗震救灾工作的机构。防震抗震救灾一体化,省政府统一领导,各部门分工合作,省、市、县分级负责是该系统的指导思想和运作特色.该系统决策层次高,协调能力强,日常工作有保障,建立以来在防震减灾的组织、规划、宣传、实施等方面取得了成效,促进了广东省防震减灾事业的发展.The 8951 earthquake - preventing system is an organization formed various levels of government of Guangdong Province, which serves for leading directing and coordinating works of earthquake prevention and protection and disaster releaf. The guiding idea and operating characteristics of the system is that the provincial government is in charge of unified leadership, and the concerned departments take a share in the work and cooperate with each other. Provincial, municipal and county levels of the government assume the responsibility for own range. This system has its high-level policy dicision making high ability to coordinate and secure its regular operation. Since its establishment, achievements were gained in 11 aspects,such as the organization,planning,propaganda,implementation of earthquake prevention and protection and hazard mitigation program and so on. As a re-sult, great advances are brought in the seismological service in Guangdong Province.
