摘　　要：光盘的格式的开发中,要数“双层可录DVD”格式的“竞赛”为最新。那就是容量为8.5GB的双层DVD+R格式,取名为(DVD+R DL)。早在汤姆逊·爱迪生发明了唱片的雏形并刻上连续的声轨后,媒体的竞争从此开始,下一个媒体是磁性录制原理制成的录音铜丝。正如人们所说:过去的都将成为历史。In the race for pre-recorded optical media the most recent offer ing is Dual Layer DVD+R (DVD+R DL), with a capacity of 8.5 GB of data on a single disc. The contest actually began many years ago when Thomas Edison invented the predecessor of the LP (vinyl Long Play) in the form of a drum with a cut-in continuous track containing the sound. This was directly followed by mag netic recording principle in a metal wire. And, as they say, the rest is history.
