摘　　要：时分-同步码分多址(TD-SCDMA)具有频谱利用率高、系统容量大、系统设备成本竞争优势强、移动速度满足国际电信联盟(ITU)要求、网络建设费用低、适合移动互联网非对称数据业务应用和全球漫游等特点。因此,在第三代移动通信系统(3G)的市场竞争中,未来采用TD-SCDMA技术和设备的移动通信运营商具有明显优势。TD-SCDMA产业的发展始终得到中国政府的大力支持。在TD-SCDMA产业联盟的努力下,TD-SCDMA的开发进度正显著加快。TD-SCDMA is characterized by outstanding benefits such as high spectrum efficiency, high system capacity, low facility and network building costs, global roaming, best asymmetrical data service support, and acceptable terminal mobility, all of which comply with ITU requirements. In the future, all these benefits will give mobile communication operators using TD-SCDMA equipment obvious advantage in the competitive 3G wireless market. Due to the effort of TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance as well as full support from the government, TD-SCDMA is well on its way towards achieving globalization, industrialization, and commercialization.
