摘　　要：从公路工程规划、设计、建设和管理过程中所涉及的各种数据和资料出发 ,分析了基于 GIS和工程数据库建立公路工程智能信息平台的功能需求 ,论述了系统总体结构、数据库设计和系统功能设计 ,探讨了系统开发中的关键技术 ,最后以广东省公路工程智能信息平台为例 。As a GIS-based system,highway project intelligent information platform incorporates functions of GIS and highway Management Information System(MIS).By investigating highway data and its sources in detail,the authors put forward function requirements, system structure,conceptual data models,physical data models and system functions of this platform. Some major problems encountered in this project and its solutions are presented. The application of GuangDong Highway Intelligent Information Platform is introduced in the end.
