摘　　要：论文着重对低码率图像压缩编码和基于宽带IP网中的多媒体通信进行了研究,分析了H.263低码率图像压缩编码和解码的模型,算法以及它的软件实现。另外,在宽带IP网中运用低码率压缩算法进行视频通信的研究,并用软件编程实现了整个视频通信过程。This paper focuses on the low-bit-rate photographic compression arithmetic and the video communications over the broadband IP networks.The whole paper can be divided into two sections:One is concerning on the low-bit-rate photographic compression arithmetic,another provides an introduction to the video communication on the broadband IP networks.
