摘　　要：华优 8 83 0是由不育系Y华农A与恢复系R883 0配组而成的华南杂交早籼中熟组合。该组合分蘖力强 ,株型适中 ,丰产性好 ,米质优良 ,高抗稻瘟病 ,2 0 0 1年 12月和 2 0 0 2年 3月分别通过广西和广东省农作物品种审定。介绍了华优 883 0的选育过程、主要特性。Huayou 8830 is a new indica hybrid rice combination derived from the CMS line Y Huanong A (Yegong type cytoplasm) and a strong restorer line R8830 (Minghui 63×287). It is a medium maturity combination for early cropping season in south China, with strong tillering ability, good plant type, high yielding ability, fine grain quality and strong resistance to blast. It was examined and approved in Guangxi in December, 2001 and in Guangdong in March, 2002, respectively. The breeding procedure, major characteristics, and technical points in the cultural management and hybrid seed production of Huayou 8830 were introduced in this paper.
