摘　　要：为了提供多媒体业务,以软交换为核心的NGN(nextgenerationnetwork)架构对媒体服务器产生了新的技术要求,目前因特网上现存的媒体服务器系统结构不能很好地满足这些要求。本文在深入研究NGN多媒体业务平台的基础上,提出了一种新型的集群媒体服务器系统结构,为问题的解决铺平了道路。文中详述了该系统结构中各节点的软件结构和关键设计问题,并介绍了目前已经在实验室实现的一个原型系统。In order to provide multi-media services, NGN(next generation network) architecture in which softswitch is the kernel has made many new requests for media server .There exists many architectures of media sever on Internet now, but they can't satisfy these requests. Based on the in-depth study of NGN multimedia service platform, this paper proposes a new architecture for clustered media server which gives a way to solve the problem. The paper describes the architecture in detail and discusses many important design issues in each node of the server. The paper also introduces a prototype system of the architecture which we have implemented in our lab.
