摘　　要：在VOD(Video-on-Demand)中,采用并行服务器体系结构可以分散用户请求,减轻服务器局部压力和网络局部流量,扩大视频应用的规模。给出了一种集群式并行VOD系统的体系结构,重点讨论了动态负载平衡、磁盘Cache和流式拷贝3种关键技术。The video server with parallel architecture can extend the area of video service system, because it can disperse users' requests and reduce the local load of server and local traffic of networks. The hierarchy of a clustered-parallel VOD system is proposed and three major technologies of parallel VOD server are emphatically discussed: dynamic load balancing, disk cache, and stream-copy, which reduce the rejected ratio of user's requests and develop a high parallel performance of multimedia server.
