摘　　要：西方社会的发展理论经历了从传统发展观到现代发展观的转变。传统的发展观以单纯追求经济增长为特征。在总结传统发展观经验教训的基础上,西方社会提出了以多元协调发展为特征的新发展理论。研究西方社会的发展理论,对当代中国的发展问题具有借鉴意义。There is a change from traditional view to current view on the theory of development in Western society. Single economic growth is the character of traditional view of development on the basis of which the new development theory of character of diverse harmonious development was raised in the Western countries. It is no doubt that it can be used as a reference to the development of China.
