粮食涨价引发的思考

摘　　要：2003年10月份以来,中国粮食及大宗农产品价格出现6年来的首次明显上扬。涨价反映出中国粮食产量满足不了国内需求。本文对其中的主要原因进行了分析,结合中国今后人口增多对粮食需求量增大、粮食播种面积减少、农户种粮比较效益低种田积极性不高、库存粮食减少、进口粮食补充又有限的背景,从目前和长远角度分析了中国粮食安全面临的严峻形势,并提出了确保粮食安全的对策建议。Since October of 2003, a significant rise in food prices has been witnessed for the first time during the past six years. The rise is believed to be a sign of insufficient food supply in the domestic market. In this paper, an analysis is made about the chief causes of the rise in food prices, including the increasing demand of food caused by population growth, shrinkage of farmland, comparatively low benefit of farming product, decrease of food stock, and limited food import. The discussion also involves the current and future problems of our food security, and suggested measures to guarantee our food security.
