摘　　要：平夜君成墓位于河南省驻马店市新蔡县葛陵村东北部的一道南北向岗脊上,西南紧邻葛陵故城。河南省文物考古研究所等单位于1994年5月对该墓迸行抢救性发掘。 平夜君成墓为两棺两椁,墓葬在历史上曾多次被盗。经发掘清理,出土随葬器物有青铜、漆木、铅锡、皮革、金、玉、竹、陶器等。按用途可分为札器、乐器、兵器、车马器、甲胄、生活用品及竹简等。其中竹简内容较为丰富,大致可分力卜篮祭祷记录和遣策两类。 平夜君成墓是淮河流域近年发现的楚国大型封君墓葬。随葬器物种类繁多,制作精美。墓中出土铜器及竹简中有"平夜君成"铭文。Located on a small hill in the close neighborhood of the city site of Geling, and near the Geling Village about 25 km northwest of the county seat of Xincai,the tomb underwent tescue exeavation conducted by archaeologists from the Institute of Archaeology of Henan Province, Cultural Bureau of Zhumadian City and CPAM of Xincai County in may 1994.Having been damaged as indicated by the existence of seven tunnels left by tomb robbers,the tomb still contained two coffins and two coffin chambers,and the remnant funerary objects include the bronze, lacquer, wooden, tin, lead, leather, gold, jade bamboo and pottery objects, or according to the purposes they once served, the ritual object, musical instrument, weapon, horse-and-chariot fittings, helmet and armor, everyday utensils and bamboo slip.The bamboo slips are quite rich in content,and include roughly divination and inventory.The tomb is a very unique aristocratic one of a large scale of the Chu State ever found in the streams of the Huai in recent years. Reveals by the inscription of 平夜君成 on the slip excavated . the tomb belonged to the nobleman, whose interment might take place in the middle Warring States.a little later than King Sheng's reign period of the Chu State.
