摘  要:黄庭坚是“宋四家”中表现艺术自觉意识最强的一个,他的“字中有笔”论,实为其“心不知手,手不知笔”论的支撑。Huang Tingjian, one of the four most leading calligraphers (the other three: Su Dongpo , Mi Fu and Cai Xiang ) in North Song Dynasty , holds that vividness and likeness originate from unique style of the calligrapher. The best state of mind in writing is such a complete non-restricted state of mind as total absorption in writing even without realizing the existence of hand and writing-brush. He emphasizes the importance of learning and tries to put personal mind refinement into writing practice. Huang Tingjian is the strongest in expressing art consciousness. His theory of characters full of expressiveness of writing is indeed an effective foundation for the theory of total absorption in writing even without realizing the existence of hand and writing-brush.
