摘　　要：从系统与分类学、细胞学、园艺学及育种学等多学科归纳并总结了世界各地对玉簪属植物的研究成果,就今后国内研究发展趋势进行了简要阐述。The genus Hosta plants which are regarded as the most important ornamental plants have been made great progress on sciences reach, cultivation and application of horticulture in the world, while Chinese people have done little work on these subjects. In order to push ahead of the plaintain lilies development of study and application in China, we have reviewed the advances of genus Hosta, studying in respects of evolution and taxonomy, cytology, horticulture, heredity in this paper. By analyzing a vast amount of data, the direction and emphasis of the research ahead in China are briefly stated.
