摘　　要：可持续发展是一个内涵十分丰富的范畴 ,它的提出标志着人类社会发展过程中的一次重大转折。但该范畴内容所包含的悖论 ,如追求增长与可持续性之间的矛盾等 ,却又决定了可持续发展实践的困难。要实现可持续发展的目标 ,就必须对现有的社会经济制度进行彻底的革命 。Sustainable development is a category with very rich connotation. Its proposal marks a great change in the process of human society's development. But the reverse theory in the category as the contrdiction between pursuing growth and sustainablity also determines the difficulties in the development of sustainable practice. To attain the goal of sustainable development, the present social economic system must be revolutionized, the process of human civilization must be reformed.
