摘 要:栎链蚧属(Asterodiaspis)是专性寄生于壳斗科(Fagacea)植物的特有类群之一,部分种类的雌成虫寄生于同一寄主的不同部位(茎干、叶片)时,在形态上表现出一定的差异,从而表现为食干型(stem-form)和食叶型(leaf-form)的分化,这种生态二型现象(ecologieal dimorphism)表现出本类群的复杂多样性。本文在新种双型栎链蚧A.biformis sp.nov.形态记述的基础上,认为新栎链蚧属Neoasterodiaspis Borchsenius,Oaks (Fagaceae) have a very rich fauna of scale insects (Homoptera: Coccinea). More than 150 species in 50 genera of 10 families have been reported from Fagaceae in China. ,The systematic status of the genus, Asterodiaspis Signoret (1876) is briefly discussed, and a new species, A. biformis Liu et Shi, is described and illustrated. The relationship between this genus and Neoasterodiaspis Borchsenius (1960) is also discussed.The genus Asterodiaspis was first designated by Signoret in 1876. Later Russell (1941) considered it as a synonym of Asterolecanium (Targioni-Tozzetti, 1869). Since then it had long been treated as such until the publications of Borchsenius (1950) and Bodenheimer (1951) in which Asterodiaspis was considered a valid genus. Borchsenius (1960)defined the morphological characters of the genus, and described 4 new species, of which 3 have been found in China. The biology, morphology and ecology of the genus Asterodiaspis were studied in several countries in the 1970s, but no new species was discovered.We began to work on this genus in 1986. During the past 5 years we have described 5 new species from China, and another new species (below). We found that the dimorphism associated with the feeding sites exists in A. variabile (Russell)after transfer- ring nymphal stages (crawlers) from the leaves to stems of the host plants, and vice versa. Later we found that dimorphism also exists in the following species: A. alba (Takahashi), A. glandulifera Liu et Shi, A. multipora Liu et Shi,and A. polypora Shi et Liu.During the morphological study of the new species, A. biformis, we found that the leaf-form adult female has 3 different 8-shaped pores. Among those 8-shaped pores, some show characteristics of the pores of Asterodiaspis others are identical to those present in Neoasterodiaspis, and some are intermediate forms of the two genera. Therefore, the 8-shaped pores are not critical in the separation of this genus from Neoantervdiaspis.The morphological characters of the genus Asterodiaspis based on Russel
