摘 要:利用半经典激光方程求出了光输出反馈损耗调制型双稳激光器的稳态解。进行了解的线性稳定性分析。理论计算表明,按这种方式运转的激光器的双稳特性与激光器的泵浦强度、光输出反馈系数、反馈损耗调制系数、输入光信号强度以及光电探测器的饱和光强有关。该器件是一种可在较大范围内调节和控制的主动式光学双稳器件。适当选择反馈损耗调制系效和光电探测器的饱和光强,该器件还可工作在自脉冲状态,从而有可能利用这种运转方式获得超短激光脉冲。The steady-state solutions of semiclassical laser equations for a laser by out-put-feedback loss-modulation scheme have been obtained, and a linear-stabilityof the solutions analysed. The theoretical calculation shows that the bistable be-havior of lasers operated by the scheme is connected with the pump intensity oflasers, the feedback coefficient of the laser output, the feedback loss-modulationcoefficient, the intensity of input optical signal and the saturation intensity ofthe photodetector. This scheme is a new optically-bistable method and the bista-bility of this active optically bistable device can be adjusted and controlled wi-thin a wide range. The device can exhibit self-pulsating behavior if the feedbackloss-modulation coefficient and the saturation intensity of the photodetector areappropriately selected. Therefore, this device can be used to generate extremelyshort pulses.
