试论建立旅游卫星账户对发展西部旅游的意义

摘　　要：在分析发展西部旅游需要改进旅游统计的基础上,阐明了建立旅游卫星账户对发展西部旅游的意义,即旅游卫星账户可以指导完善西部旅游统计体系;通过创建一个用途广泛的数据库,提供有关西部旅游的宏观经济总量,从而揭示西部旅游业的规模及其经济重要性;还可以引发其他的分析,从而成为西部地区制定科学的旅游政策和战略的有力工具。Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) is the new standard for tourism statistics in the whole world. This paper, based on the analysis of the fast that developing tourism in Western China demands the improvement of tourism statistics, discusses the significance of establishing TSA to the tourism development in Western China, that is, TSA can direct the bettering of the system of tourism statistics in western regions, by a multi-usage data-base. It provides with tourism-related macroeconomic aggregates, and shows the scale and importance of tourism industry, hence it will become a powerful tool for making policy and strategy of tourism industry scientifically.
