摘　　要：曾经被认定"没戏"的国产3G标准,在白眼与冷落中熬过漫漫4年之后,终于一步步逼近产业化和商用的门槛,并赢得越来越多国际主流电信设备商的支持。In recent months, Mr. Yang Hua, the secretary-general of the Consortium of TD-SCDMA Manufacturers has been happiest since he took the position two years ago. More than a dozen of enterprises apply for joining the consortium, among them, seven or eight applicants are foreign-funded companies, almost embracing all telecommunication equipment vendors in the mainstream.The situation was just the opposite two years ago. When the consortium went to visit these transnational for seeking cooperation, he and his colleagues were given the cold shoulder. He clearly remembers that the presi-dent of a famous international telecommunication equipment vendor claimed that no one would apply for a license of TD-SCDMA at the 7th 3G Conference in June 2002. Now the vendor has applied for joining the consortium.In October this year, the world third largest semiconductor manufacturer, ST, was accepted as a member of the consortium. Shanghai Alcatel announced in early November that the company would invest 250 million yuan to buy shares of Datang Telecomm which holds key tech-nologies of TD-SCDMA and to set up a R&D joint venture with Datang Telecomm for TD-SCDMA.A dawn comes for TD-SCDMA after a cold and indifferent period.
