摘 要:本文从符号学和认知语言学角度探讨语篇隐喻的存在理据.与概念隐喻和人际隐喻一样,语篇隐喻是语法隐喻的一个有机组成部分.它通过隐喻性主位结构和隐喻性信息结构,把概念意义和人际意义组织成有意义的语篇.从符号学的角度看,语篇隐喻缘于语言符号的象似性,从认知角度看,则缘于人类认知模式的顺序性和语言处理的"联系原则".语篇隐喻和小句/语篇的概念意义、人际意义密切相关,考察语篇隐喻必须结合概念隐喻、人际隐喻,综合地加以考虑.This paper is aimed at exploring textual metaphor from the perspectives of semiotics and cognitive linguistics. Like ideational metaphor and interpersonal metaphor, textual metaphor is one of the organic constituents of grammatical metaphor. It organizes the ideational and interpersonal meanings into a meaningful text via metaphorical thematic structures and metaphorical information structures. From the perspective of semiotics, textual metaphor stems from the iconicity of linguistic signs; from the perspective of cognitive linguistics, it roots in the sequencing nature of human cognitive patterns and the 'Association Principle' of language processing. Textual metaphor is closely related with the ideational and interpersonal meanings of the text, so the study of textual metaphor should be associated with ideational and interpersonal metaphors.
