摘  要:以两段法等制作的普通煤气及化工、冶金企业中含可燃组分的废气等,都是低热值燃料。它们的高效燃烧和废热回收,需借助高活性催化剂支持的CST燃烧法以提高热效、降低空气污染,因而颇具实用价值。研制活性组分和优质载体是关键因素,要求前者有好的活化氧的能力,后者则比表面大且稳定。该技术用于热交换器,亦是节能领域一新举。The coal gases came from two-stage gasification process and the exhaust gases containing combustible components from chemical and metallurgical industries are all low heating value (LHV) gas streams. Using suitable catalytic combustion system, the catalytically supported thermal (CST) combustion technique was developed. It can deal with these LHV gases with reducing pollutant emission level and increasing combustion efficiency simultaneously. The crucial step for CST combustion is the selection of combustor substrate and active material. The most preferred choice is the monolithic substrate, which provides a high geometrical surface area for increasing the activity of the catalyzing metal (or metal oxide) and permits extremly high volumes of fuel throughput without serious pressure drop throughout the combustor chamber, The catalyzing metal or metal oxide will improve combustion activity as its ability of activating the oxygen molecule. It is also possible to use CST combustion to convert combustible waste gases into useful thermal energy.
