摘　　要：我国是世界上水稻生产量和稻米消费量最大的国家,同时也是稻米的重要进出口国,在国际贸易中占有重要位置。我国加入WTO,一方面给我国水稻的生产的贸易带来了机遇,另一方面也使水稻的生产和贸易面临严峻挑战。如何抓住机遇,发展水稻生产,增加稻谷产量,增强我国稻米的国际竞争力,确保我国稻米在国际稻米贸易中的地位得到巩固和加强,必须引起我们的持续关注。China is the largest country of rice production and consumption, and also the important trade country of rice. After China's enter into WTO, the whole situation of rice production and development is very critical in China. It is necessary to arouse our sustainable concern about how to utilize opportunity,develop rice production and increase international competitiveness.
