摘　　要：本文主要综述了Wi-Fi作为一种新的无线互联网接入技术,它的技术优势和其应用中的劣势,以及这一技术对目前电信业普遍关注的3G的影响,最后讨论了面对这一新技术,电信业、尤其是电信运营商应该把这项技术作为电信业的一次发展机遇,在无线领域谋求更多的发展空间。In this paper, we try to explain the advantages and the disadvantages of Wi-Fi, which is used a new access technology of WLAN, and then analyze the influence of the technology on 3G. Finally, it is discussed that faced with this new technology, telecommunication operators should regard Wi-Fi as an opportunity for their development and try to find much more space in the field of wireless communication.
