摘　　要：蔡元培在我国近代史上是一位伟大的爱国主义者 ,又是一位不断随着时代前进的伟大教育家。他提倡科学与民主 ,主张“兼容并包”。他为我国近代教育、科学事业的发展做出了重大的贡献 ,并给后代留下了宝贵的精神财富。十分重视健康教育 ,提出了一系列的教育实施方案 ,身体力行参加健康教育实践 。A great patriot in recent and modern times of China,Cai Yuanpei was also a splendid educator and scientist,who advanced along with the times unceasingly.He advocated science and democracy,put forward the doctrines of “absorbing different academic viewpoints”and “hundred scholars' giving various opinions”and raised and cultivated a whole generation as well.Cai Yuanpei contributed a lot to the development of our nation's education cause in recent and modern times,and he also left the younger generations a precious mental fortune.He thought highly of health education very much,raised a series of practicable plans on health education,took practice by himself,and formed his ideas on health education with his own characteristics.All he did had cast great influence on the development of our nation's health education in recent and modern times.
