摘　　要：在定义城市周边地带的基础上,分析了城市周边地带城市化特征.根据西安市城市空间结构现状,利用专家打分法确定了西安市各区县隐性城市化调整系数,提出计算其城市化率的公式.根据计算结果初步界定了西安城市周边地带范围.Urban peripheral area is a unique dynamic region which lies between urban constructed areas and rural hinterlands and whose urbanization is the fastest and most sensitive, sharing some functions of the urban and promoting urbanization of rural hinterlands. The definition of urban peripheral area is given for the first time and a new formula to measure urbanization rate of Xi′an urban peripheral area is put forward. Based on results of the measurement, range of Xi′an urban peripheral area is finally defined.
