摘　　要：目的:长期以来,关于史前人类使用砭石进行保健康复治疗的资料极为匮乏,也未能结合出土资料进行研究。近期以来,在国内外已经有人开展了一些涉及古人使用砭石进行康复保健和外科手术的学术研究。结合这些研究分析结果,可以看到古人使用砭石类器具的技巧和能力,远超出以前学术界的认识。这对研究古人在使用简陋医疗器具进行医疗保健、临床康复的研究有很大启迪。资料来源:资料主要来自:①医学史资料:应用计算机检索1980-01/2004-01关于医学史方面相关文章,检索词“医学史”、“砭石”。②考古资料:计算机或手工检索《考古与文物》、《中国文物报》及相关资料,检索词为“砭石”、“外科手术”。③古代文献:手工查找或计算机查阅,检索词为:“砭石”、“石针”、“石镰”类。资料选择:选择有关古人使用砭石的古代文献记述7篇。现代提及砭石的研究书著12册,辞书一部,近期学术论文9篇。数据提炼:在7篇古代文献里的论述均符合研究内容,现代研究书著,应用3篇,有关研究论文及报道符合7篇,予以综述。资料综合:以前学术界认为史前砭石,只是古人用来进行简单的排脓清瘀的临床康复手术。通过近期的研究资料或报道综合可知,古人还可用砭石进行开颅、针刺、以及鼻、额、眼部复杂手术,并有不少康复的病例。OBJECTIVE:The material as to the prehistoric man used stone-needle for keeping fit and rehabilitation is little and has not been studied through combination of the unearthed materials for a long time.There has been some scientific researches concerning to ancient people used stone-needle for rehabilitation and surgical operation both at home and abroad.With all results of these researches and analyses,we can find that the technology and ability of the ancient people using stone apparatuses are far more beyond previous recognition in the professional field.These all have large edification for us to learn how did ancient people use simple and crude apparatuses for medical care and rehabilitation. DATA SOURCES:First,the materials of medicine history, which were hunt in computer for the relative papers from January 1980 to January 2004, the key words were“medicine history”,“stone apparatus”. Secondly, archaeology materials obtained through retrieving “archaeology and culture relic' and “China Vertu' by hand or by computer, the key words were“stony apparatus”and“surgery operation”.Thirdly,ancient literatures retrieved by hand or computer,the key words were“stone apparatus”,“stone needle”and“stone hook”. STUDY SELECTION:Seven ancient literatures about how did ancient people use stone apparatus were chosen.Twelve present-day works, one dictionary and nine recent academic papers concerning stone apparatus were taken. DATA EXTRACTION:The descriptions in 7 ancient literatures, three modern study works and seven research papers and reports that are in accord with the study were reviewed. DATA SYNTHESIS:The academia had formerly thought that stone apparatus was only used to simply remove pus and clear away stasis by ancient people.According to recent research materials we know that ancient people also used stone apparatus in opening skull,acupuncture and some complex operations on nose,forehead and eyes, and there were some cases rehabilitated.
