摘  要:英国美术评论家赫伯特·里德在《现代绘画简史》中对人类艺术史的发展有过经典的概括:“整个艺术史就是一部关于视觉方式的历史。”这个特定意义下的“艺术史”有着明显的界定性。自杜尚把自行车轮固定在一把凳子上起,先锋艺术家们就开始频频向理论家发难。传统的视觉艺术已拓宽到视觉、听觉、触觉等各种刺激器官。艺术创作也逐渐转变为艺术家思维与艺术活动的一种组合。里德的这一理论同样也受到了新的挑战。British fine arts reviewer Herbert Reed said in”The Brief History of Modem Painting”,there is the classical generalization that is development to the human art history:”The whole art history is a history about the vi- sion way.”There are obvious circles that determined the nature in”art history”under this specific meaning.From (Duchamp) fixes at stools getting up bicycle wheel then on,vanguard begin frequent to raise difficult questions to the theoretician right away by artist.By the sixties,traditional visual arts had already widened the interaction that vision,sense of hearing,sense of touch,etc.were stimulated together.The artistic creation is changed into artist' s thinking and one kind of the art activity gradually.This theory of Reed's has received the new challenge equally too.
