摘　　要：CA488发动机系中国第一汽车集团公司引进美国克莱斯勒公司生产技术生产的四缸、四冲程、水冷、顶置凸轮轴式汽油发动机。由于引进的只是基础发动机,不包括电控、供油、点火等附件的软件和制造技术,因此在这些方面必须进行必要的改造。介绍了在整机布置、附配件、油料、材料、技术文件转化等方面所进行的国产化工作情况。CA488 engine which was transferred from the Chrysler Automotive Company U. S. A. by the First Auto Federated Corporation is a four cylinder, four stroke cycle water cooled gasoline engine with camshaft on top of cylinder head. As the original engine transferred is a basic engine merely, not including softwares of electronic controlling,fuel supplying and ignition accessories and production techniques,therefore it is necessary to make modification in these respects. The article gives informations of the modification work in making the engine domestically, such as adaptation of general lay-out of engine,accessories, fuel and materials,and transformation of technical documents.
