PRELIMINARY STUDIES ON THE BIOLOGY OF ARTEMIA SALINA FROM DIFFERENT LOCALITIES OF P.R.CHINA

摘  要:选用了孤雌生殖的4个卤虫品系,它们是山东埕口盐场(C),福建惠安盐场(H),青海柯柯盐湖(K),以及海南岛莺歌海盐场(Y)。对卤虫品系进行了染色体倍数的观察和温、盐度对生长、生殖的影响试验。并从养殖观点讨论了各品系的优劣。Four strains of Artemia parthenogenetoca were collected from different localities of China and studied They are from Chengkou salterns, Shandong (strain C),Huian salterns, Fujian (strain H) , Salt Lake Keke, Qinghai (strain K) , and Yinggehai salterns, Hainan Island (strain Y) . There are 2n (diploid) and 5n in strain C, 2n, 4n and 5n in strain H, only 4n in strain K; 4n and 5n in strain Y. After cultured for 9 days, of four strains of Artemia, more than 90% could survive and grow over 2.6mm at 19-28℃ and salinities of Be' 2-10; and more than 92% could survive and grow over 7mm at 24-28℃ and salinities of sea water-Be' 8. There is significant difference in reproduction mode and fecundity between the four strains. Strain K produced cysts only; whereas the other strains produced both cysts and nauplii. The superiority and inferiority of each strain was discussed from the aquaculture viewpoint.
