摘 要:改革开放以来,我国传播内容日趋丰富,文化的内涵和表现也在发生变化。这二者之间究竟有什么样的关系?本文从实证研究的角度探究这一问题,并将价值观念的变化作为文化变迁的核心,将传媒视为价值观念变化的伴随因素。在此基础上,本文陈述了分别在1987年和1995年开展的两个问卷调查的结果。这些结果显示,接触多种传媒内容与多员的价值观念相关。除此之外,这两个调查还说明在研究传媒与文化的变迁时,研究者的中心议题随时代的热点而变化,这本身从一个局部反映了文化的变化,通过这两个实证研究。AbstractDuring the reforms, Chinese media content is being increasingly diversified, so are the expressions of culture. This paper raises one central question: What is the relationship between the changes in media content and in culture? To address this question empirically, this paper focuses on the central component of culture: values. It presents evidence from two sample survey conducted in 1987 and 1995 respectively to show that different types of media content are significantly related to different kinds of values. These two studies also show that not only increasing diversity in media content is accompanied with increasing diversity in values, but also the research focus on values is a historical choice that varies according to the key concerns of a historical period. Through these two studies, this paper attempts to demonstrate an empirical approach to studying media and cultural changes.
