摘 要:本文利用激光加热小基座法(LHPG 法)生长了 Al_2O_3单晶光纤,晶纤直径从100μm 至1mm,直径波动小于2%,长度可达30cm。测量了晶纤的光损耗谱,光散射位置谱;讨论了晶纤直径波动,显微缺陷对光散射的影响。表明 Al_2O_3单晶光纤在近红外波段光损耗主要决定于散射损耗;而晶纤的直径波动和显微缺陷对散射损耗和光学均匀性有很大影响。Al_2O_3 single crystal fiber (SCF) with diameter of 100μm to 1mm,diameter variations less than 2% and length up to 30 cm were grown by thelaserheated pedestal growth (LHPG) method.The loss spectra and scatteringproperties of the fibers were measured,and the dependence of scattering losson the diameter variations and micro defects were discussed.The results indi-cate that the optical loss are dependent on optical scattering in the near infra-red,and the diameter variations and the micro defects have an important effecton the optical loss and optical uniformity of the fiber.
