摘 要:20世纪前 30年间 ,中国经历了从保存国粹到整理国故再到不承认国学是“学”这一持续的学术和思想观念的竞争进程 ,其中形成社会参与相对广泛的思想论争至少有四次。本文从思想视角考察整理国故的口号初起时以北大学生为主的思想论争中与学术相关然其关怀又超出学术的部分 ,首先检讨论争双方的观念本身 ,其次将此次论争置于当时思想言说之中进行考察 ,侧重于各类读书人观念的异同 ,最后从时人关注的古今中外的时空互动角度简单分析这次论争的史学启示。In the first three decades of the twentieth century, China experienced a continuous academic and ideological struggle over the status of “National Heritage”: from preserving national essence, to reorganizing the national heritage, to finally refusing to admit Chinese National Culture Studies as a field of study. In the course of this struggle, there were at least four major controversies which involved extensive social participation. From the viewpoint of ideology, this article examines the ideological debate dominated by students at Beijing University at the time when the slogan of reorganizing the national heritage first appeared, focusing on those parts of the debate which related to—yet exceeded the bounds of—academic research. The article first reviews the ideas of the two disagreeing groups, then examines them in the context of the thought and discourse of the time, with an emphasis on the similarities and differences of the ideas of various intellectuals. Finally, it briefly analyzes the historical enlightenment of these controversies, from the angle of space time interactions between the ancient and modern and the Chinese and foreign to which people at that time paid close attention.
