摘　　要：本文对Smith提出的依赖图法予以改进,归纳出若干条简化准则和转换法则,从而使依赖图更为明确、直观和方便使用,是提高关系数据库模式规范化程度的一种有效方法,也可作为对已规范化数据库模式进行校核。This paper provides a method to improve the functional dependency diagram by H. C. Smith, sums up some rules for simplification and transformation. Thus the functional dependency diagram becomes further clear-cut, direct and easy to use. It is an effective method that makes better normalization of relational database schema. This method may also be applied to testing the normalized relational database schema.
