摘　　要：交通标志的识别是智能交通系统(ITS)的组成部分之一,具有十分重要的意义,对Hu提出的区 域不变矩和Chen提出的区域不变矩快速算法进行了扩展,得到一组新的描述形状特征的参数,这些参数具 有平移、缩放和旋转不变性,并且具有较低的计算复杂性,具有Hu和Chen方法的综合优点.Road signs recognition is a very important problem in intelligent transportation system (ITS). In this paper we extend Hu's invariant moments and Chen's invariant moments fast algorithm methods to define a group of parameters for shape description , which are independent of position, scale an rotation, and has lower computational complexity. When they are used in road signs recognition , we can get satisfied results.
