摘　　要：论述我国第一部大型综合性辞典《辞海》从筹划到1936年正式出版的开拓意义。It is well known that 《Ci Hai》 (Encyclopaedia) is the first comprehensive dictionary in China. This article analyzes the important role of 《Ci Hai》 (Encyclopaedia) to our country's culture development and describes the three e-mendutions after liberation.
