摘　　要：本文较为详细地研究了太湖似刺鳊(鱼句)(Paracanthobrama guichenoti Bleeker)的年龄和生长,并对种的繁殖保护措施作了探讨。共积累756尾标本的生物学资料。This paper deals with the age and growth of Paracanthobrama guichenoti Bleeker from lake Taihu. 756 specimens were collected and examened during August 1979 to July 1980,and partially in 1982 and 1989.Scales used for age determination are drawn from the middle part between the starting point of the dosal fin and the left lateral line. The annuli are formed(or shown)chiefly from April to July.The catches are composed of 1-6 age groups, and the 1 - 3 age groups contribute about 90% of the total number.The correlation formula of the body length(L,cm) and scale radius(R,cm) is:L = 3.7232 + 44.7650.R, and of body length and weight (W,g) is: W = 0.0151L3.1272The growth type of P.guickenoti may be expressed by von Bertalanffy (1938) equation aslt = 24.2378(1 -e-0.2643(t+1.447) Wt = 322.6283(1-e-0.2643tt +1.44) )3.1273The inflection point f,is 2.87 years, and at the point the body weight is 96.80g,and body length is 16.49cm.In order to maintain the development of the population, it is suggested that the fish stock should be exploited rationally and the minimum catchable size must be 16.0cm in body length and 100.0g in weight.
