摘　　要：本文简要介绍了西南科技大学信息检索课的成长历程——起步、发展、兴盛、衰退、徘徊、再发展等阶段,并对这段成长史进行了分析,指出了衰退、成功的主要原因以及目前还存在的问题,介绍了成功的做法。从这段成长史中看到了信息检索课的发展前景。This paper introduces the developing history of information search that is not plain sailing but zigzag in SWUST(Southwest University of Science and Technology). It analyzes its developing history, main reasons of falling and rising, the existing problems, and introduces ways of success. From its developing history we can see the good future of information search course.
