摘　　要：解读了城市设计目标的特殊性——非终结性和非单一设计可达性,该特殊性决定了城市设计是相关设计及其实施管理领域共同应用的法则,而不是一种具体的设计工作。This paper finds two features of the objective of urban design, one is the objective is progressive, the other is that the realization of itis an interdisciplinary mission, which can not be carried outby urban design itself. Thisdetermines that urban design is not a specific design work, but a commonly used rule in related designs and theiradministration.
