摘　　要：工程项目管理过程复杂,信息量庞大,业主方的高层管理者迫切需要一套定制的信息系统,帮助解决他们面临的各种管理与决策问题。就此通过论述主管信息系统(EIS)的特点及其一般功能,在分析工程项目主管工作特征的基础上,介绍了一种用LotusNotes平台构建的工程项目主管信息系统的功能结构和基本框架。The process of engineering project management is complicated with a large amount of information. Top managers of the investment part urgently need a tailored information system to help them solve different sorts of problems decision in and management problems. This paper discusses the features and general functions of EIS. On the basis of the analysis about the work of managers who are totally responsible for large engineering project management, the architecture of Lotus Notes-based Executive Information System for engineering project manager is proposed.
