摘　　要：作者阐述了苏州平江历史街区保护规划的战略思想： 可持续发展战略和公众参与， 并在该思想指导下运用城市形态学、类型学的理论探索历史街区的持续整治和保护的设计方法。Sustainable development and public participation is the strategic thinking ,explicated by the authors,of preservation planning of the Pingjiang historical district in Suzhou,under the guidance of which,the authors apply the theories of morphology and typology to explore ways to preserve and renovate the historical district.
