珠江河口的水文和泥沙特征

摘　　要：珠江河口的水域顺次分为珠江径流、珠江口冲淡水和南海外海水团等三个部分,其分布范围大体以海岸线及40m等深线为界。珠江河口区的水文泥沙特征为:三角洲网状水系具有洪水波展平、诸河水沙交流、洪潮顶托、水位上升、弱潮、会潮点淤积、河床演变朝淤积方向发展;分流水道口门为强径流或强潮流;口门和河口湾或淡水混合,滩槽地形发育;风暴潮和大浪等等。Water bodies in the Pearl River Estuary are zoned seawards into three types by shoreline and 4 m isobath, which are fresh water, mixed water and salt water. The hydrological and sedimentary characteristics of the estuary are as follows: gentle slope of flood waves, water and sediment intercharge among tributaries, flood against tidal currents, water-level rising, small tidal range, siltation at the place where tidal currents meet, deposition resulting in the riverbed development, strong runoff or strong tidal current at the tributary mouth gates, fresh water and sea water mixing in the tributary mouthes and the estuary, evolution of bars and troughs, great storm surges, etc..
