摘　　要：海军裁军是两次世界大战之间帝国主义列强裁减军备活动的一项内容.当德、意、日法西斯对世界和平已构成严重威胁时,英美两国缺乏充分的认识,伦敦海军会议上,在日本宣布退出会议,完全不受海军裁军条约的限制时,仍坚持签订新的限制海军军备条约,导致两国海军建设的严重落后,削弱了抵抗法西斯侵略的能力.Naval disarmament was one of the series of reduction of military armament activities among the Imperialism Powers between the two world wars.The British and t he Amer-icans did not recognize the situatio n which Germany,Italy and Japan had a lready con-stituted a menace to world peace.Britain and the United States still insist on negotiating a new Treaty for the Limitation of Nav al Armament at Landon Conference,while Japan declared withdraw from the conferen ce,free from the restriction of the t reaties .The result is that,Britain and the Unite d States spun a cocoon around themselves .It was leding to a fateful delay in their naval building,weakenning the capability of fighting against Fancist aggressions .
