摘　　要：计算机网络的普及和大量高新技术的应用,使图书馆参考咨询服务手段向现代化、多元化方向发展,而利用电子邮件是切实可行的方式之一。简要介绍了电子邮件应用于图书馆参考咨询工作中的优越性,从服务功能、服务方式的角度探讨了电子邮件在参考咨询服务工作中的应用问题。The popularization of the computer-based network and the application of a lot of high-techniques make the means of the reference and consultancy services of the library develop towards the modernization and diversification, and the application of E-mail is one of the practicable methods. This paper briefly introduces the superiority of applying E-mail in the reference and consultancy services of the library, and probes into the application of E-mail in the reference and consultancy services of the library from the angles of the service functions and service methods.
