摘　　要：本文运用因子分析法,对江苏省沿江八市经济发展进行综合评价,寻找各市经济发展差距,在此基础上,提出沿江开发一些建议:提高对外开放层次;加快第三产业发展;推进城市化建设步伐;扶持本地企业发展;提高政府工作效率等。By adopting the factor analysis, this paper sets a comprehensive evaluation on the economic development of the eight cities along the Yangtze river, seeks the economic development differences among them. On this base,we provide with some advices about the development along the river: heighten the level of open policy; speed up the development of the third industry; promote the urbanization steps; support the development of local enterprises; improve the governmental operational efficiency , etc.
