摘　　要：在研究GIS中空间数据模型的基础上,利用空间数据本身的面向对象特性,结合现有的对象关系型数据库(ORDB)中的抽象对象类型,提出了基于ORDB的空间数据库的存储模型。并介绍了大型分布式网络GIS系统VegaGIS中空间数据库的设计及其实现。This paper analyzes the spatial data model, the OO characteristic of the spatial data and the abstract object data type of current ORDB, puts forward a spatial database storage model based on ORDB and addresses the design and implementation of spatial database in the distributed large scale GIS platform-VegaGIS. Finally the paper makes the conclusion and gives more thought about the future research of spatial database.
