摘　　要：提出了指纹连续分布方向图(场)的概念及其算法,这种连续分布方向图过渡平滑、自然,具有很好的连续性、渐变性和抗噪性,同时又具有极高的精确度,兼有指纹点方向图的连续过渡性和块方向图的抗噪性优点,对低质量指纹图像具有良好的鲁棒性,能更精确地反映指纹脊线的结构特征,提高自动指纹识别系统AFIS(AutomatedFingerprintIdentificationSystem)的性能。在FVC2000、FVC2002和FVC2004的训练指纹库(SetB)以及江苏科技大学指纹库上的实验结果验证了其健壮性。A novel concept on the continuously distributed directional image/field (CDDF) and the method to compute it in the fingerprint images are developed, which transits smoothly and exhibits not only good continuity,gradualness and excellent robustness to the noises, but also very high precision. This continuously distributed directional image can not only filter the noises in the fingerprint image, but also represent the basic structural features of the fingerprint more precisely. Furthermore, it can improve the performance of the AFIS(automated fingerprint identification system) effectively. The experimental results obtained on the set B databases of the FVC2000,FVC2002 and FVC2004, and our live-scanned fingerprint database validate our algorithm and prove a substantial improvement in the accuracy of the fingerprint directional field.
